Our Story
Lodestar College Counseling was founded in MMXXVI by Krish Sav, a student who walked the elite admissions road firsthand with a 4.0 GPA, a 1500+ SAT, and six acceptances to highly selective universities: Cornell, Duke, Georgia Tech, UT Austin, UW Madison, and Northeastern.
Krish navigated the entire journey without a private counselor. Every essay, every shortlist, and every scholarship strategy was self-built. Across his offers he secured over $400,000 in scholarship dollars while completing 28 AP and Dual Credit courses.
Lodestar exists because he wished he'd had a guide. Now he is that guide for students and parents who deserve to understand the process just as clearly. The mission is simple: streamline the road, share the playbook, and make sure no family walks it alone.
